Unless you’re stepping a step in a healthier direction, you’ll never change your life in a more positive direction.
Aim to wake up at the same time each day, unless you’re not feeling well
Do a brief digital detox during the day and for longer periods during each week
Turn your electronic devises off, one hour before you go to bed
Start your day with calming music
Have a morning or daily workout routine - Walking is great especially when hillsides are an option
Eat a healthy breakfast - Nutritionally balanced green smoothie’s provide an excellent start for the day - Waiting before you eat, 8-12 hours after your last evening meal
Eat with 6 MONTHS in mind - What you eat today will show up in your biomarkers in six months
Eat with color, texture and variety in mind - Be playful flavor the flavors again and with purpose - What does it smell like? What does is taste like? How does it feel like in your mouth when you eat it? Is it sour, sweet, tart, salty, or a combination of it all? - A symphony for the taste-spots
Eat sitting and with friends - Zoom a “dinner date” if needed
Drink adequate amounts of clean, filtered water each day - You are hydrating today for tomorrow - You cannot drink all the water of the day in a few hours, you need to spread it out throughout the day - BALANCE IN EVERYTHING!
Pray or meditate 10-15 minutes per day
Practice gratitude - Reflect on your day each evening, and find at least 5 things you are thankful for - As small as these things may seem - If you made your own bed and brushed your own hair, this is also something to be thankful for - Gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness - If you actively look for positive in your life, you will find more positive - This works too, when looking for only and highlighting the negative…
Take it easy on yourself and don’t overload the day. Be realistic, choose and prioritize only three daily tasks - You have to leave time to relax and be more playful - This is important for any age group - It is absolutely okay to just say “NO”, if it is not reasonable for you to do something - You can not give anything from an “empty cup” - You have to replenish “fill your cup and keep it full” to give to others successfully
SELF CARE - SELF CARE - SELF CARE
Consume more positive motivational content and turn off social media, news hype, etc. - Choose wisely what you allow yourself to focus on - International news reports give often a more balanced report
Surround yourself with optimistic people - A more diversified group of friends, including views - Balance is also needed when it comes to socializing yourself - Socialize wisely
Block out special time in your calendar each week, to complete tasks that turnout to be taking more time to complete. - If it turns out, that you don't need this extra time, you will have additional leisure time
Purposely schedule in relaxation time
In general, always aim to be more health conscious - Balance in everything!
Think more: Is it helpful? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
Move your body throughout the day and be strategic, playful and purposeful doing so
Cut down on clutter and aim to keep your space organized and clean
Sleep long enough, 7-9 hours per night
Keep a daily journal of sorts - Voice recordings work too
Be more BALANCED IN EVERYTHING - Who told you “You are too old to play? - Be more PLAYFUL-JOYFUL-PEACEFUL-CONTENT
